Privacy Policy

Gardenera Studio ("Gardenera", "we", "us") is a small print-on-demand design studio operated by Carson Scholl in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. This policy covers this website (gardenerastudio.pages.dev) and the Gardenera Pins app, a private tool we use to publish pins to our own Pinterest account through the Pinterest API.

Gardenera Pins app and Pinterest data

• Who uses it: only Gardenera Studio. The app posts only to our own Pinterest account (@gardenerastudio). It is not offered to the public and does not access other people's Pinterest accounts.
• What we access: with the permissions we grant through Pinterest's OAuth consent screen (boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write), the app reads our own boards, creates boards on our account when needed, and creates pins that link to our own blog and Etsy listings.
• What we store: the OAuth access token and refresh token for our account, plus a log of pins we created (pin IDs, titles, timestamps). We do not collect, store or sell data about other Pinterest users, and we do not use Pinterest data for advertising or profiling.
• How tokens are protected: tokens are stored on our own server in a file readable only by the server administrator, are sent only over HTTPS to Pinterest, are never shown in logs or web pages, and are never shared with third parties.
• Retention and removal: tokens are kept only while the app is in use and deleted when we disconnect it. You can revoke the app's access at any time in Pinterest settings under Apps.

Website visitors

This site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run accounts or logins here. Our hosting provider may process standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. If you subscribe to our email list, we use your email address only to send Gardenera updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Purchases happen on Etsy and are covered by Etsy's privacy policy.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site and app (Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Pinterest, Etsy, our email provider) or when required by law.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC PIPA) you can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
